Rochester Area Foundation is sponsoring a four-part series of Fundraising Workshops for Non-profits beginning June 16, 2010. Each session will cover a different topic and participants registering for all four sessions will receive a discount. In July of 2010, the Foundation will sponsor Coaching Circles for development professionals.

Board Involvement in Fundraising

Participants will create a personalized framework and set of expectations for engaging board members where they can add greatest value. MORE

Creating an Environment for Your Development Staff to Succeed
July 7, 2010 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM
For development staff & supervisors to attend together, this workshop will help maximize performance and minimize unmet expectations. MORE

Coaching Circles
Beginning in July 2010, the Rochester Area Foundation will sponsor two Coaching Circles to provide low-cost consulting expertise and coaching services to appropriate development professionals seeking to become effective major gifts fundraisers. MORE
SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE
A limited number of $500 scholarships are available to Coaching Circle participants who meet the following requirements:
- Development professional of an organization with an agency fund at the Rochester Area Foundation
- Commitment to participate fully (attend all meetings, complete assignments prior to group established deadlines, protect confidentiality of group discussions)
- Participation agreement signed by direct supervisor (Executive Director or Board Chair) and upfront payment of remaining fee
- Attend Session 1 or Session 2 (or both) of the Fundraising for Non-profits workshops on June 16, 2010 (Creating a Compelling Case for Support / Building an Individual Giving Program that Fits Your Organization)
